Luke Layman's Stories

I had the pleasure of working with Luke at Loyola where he did his Phyisics residency. He was truly like a sponge in the way he absorbed information. I was extremely impressed with how fast he was able to pick things up after I only showed him once. We also went to trivia night at the local bar in Forest Park and even though we never won… or even came close it was always a good time.His graduation would have taken place last month in that same neighborhood, so I’ve been a little sad thinking about that lately. Ultimately,I have no doubt in my mind Luke would have been an exceptional physicist. He really did Wolf Lake proud.
